Here Mateen was playing with Shana (L) and Niki (R). Shana and Niki are my friends children, Fariba. Mateen was quite excited about the tent idea and couldn't help himself not going inside and outside of the tent over ten times.

He had lots of fun!

we are again in sacramento. Mateen is doing well except he was crancky yesterday and wanted me to hold him all the time. Recently, he resists to be seated in his car seat. He wants to stand up and see the deriver side and play with the stuff in the car.
He is now compeletly able to hold his bottle and dring milk.

I will drop him off to Christy's house tomorrow at 9 AM and will pick him up at 6 PM. Today after I picked him up we went to Arden Mall and had lots of fun together.

Today was Eimam ALi's birthday and fathers day in Iran. Mateen did his famous "Aa Aa Aa" to dady when Mohsne called earlier today. Happy father's day, baba Mohsen : )

Mateen was so excited today morning when he opend his eyes in his room in Berkeley. We came back last night when he was sleeping. He played a lot today but has protested from yesterday and doesn't eat enough solid food but only milk. It happened two more times before. It must be beacuse of teething.

Today we spend about an houre in a coffeeshop on Hopkins street, Esspresso Roma. There were many people seating outside enjoying the nice weather and talking. After MAteen had about 10 bites of his food I took him out of his car seat and then he insisted in crawling around. He crawled toward each table and pulled himslef up by each person and flerted in a way asking for them to play with him. HE IS SO SOCIAL.

in Sacramento

Hello all,
We stayed in Sacramento last night. Mateen is now happy when I drive; he keeps himself busy with making noise, looking outside and taking naps! I have a mirror facing him on the back that I can see him when looking at the driver mirror. I just drop him off with his sitter, Christy. I should post a pic of them for you.
Daday will be back soon. He is in Iran now and Mateen has missed him alot (me too).

Mateen was so happy today. He slept the whole morning and had 4 meals!!! Afternoon, Mateen and I went to downtown Berkeley for 3 hoours. It was fun.

He just fell asleep (at 8:10 PM). We will go to Sacramento tomorrow and will stay there for 3 nights. I hope it won't be too hot there so Mateen can go out with his nice babysitter, Christy.

It is so nice of you creating this blog for Mateen.

Today when having our breakfast, I saw two new Mateen's teeth on the front side on top. Then I realized that I never wrote it down somewhere when the first two front on the bottom ones were out. Then Farbod decided to build this blog so I record every new event happens to Mateen.

By this posting you just heard that Mateen has now 4 teeth.

Today he had applesauce and oatmeal cereal as his breakfast and had 11 ounces of milk. Then two strawberries. Now he is napping.

Today is July 30'th, 2006. I just created a web-log for you, so I had the chance of posting the first entry. You just attacked my stuff, tore apart a paper that I was reviewing, and now coming for the computer. Here is your picture right before the attack. That's how you looked like on this day.
